For Rent - Available Now!

Two bedroom, two bath home in the Colonial Hills neighborhood for rent and available now at $850/month. The house is approximately 1100 square feet and was built in 1927. It's got a one-car, detached garage, fenced-in backyard (pet friendly!), and two screened-in porches. It has a roommate floorplan. The main living areas and one of the bedrooms have hardwood floors and the kitchen floor is ceramic tile. It's in great shape and we're also willing to let you choose the paint colors and plant a garden if you so desire! It's located approximately 1/4 mile from a MARTA train station, a block from the bus stop, and about a ten minute drive south of downtown Atlanta. It's also very convenient to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at about a ten minute drive. I jog around the neighborhood by myself quite often and find it a pleasant and fairly quiet and safe place to live. Be sure not to miss all of the pictures - once you get to the bottom, click on 'older posts' to see the rest of the house!

Living Room

Screened-in Side Porch

There's a screened-in porch off of the living room that is perfect for relaxing, complete with ceiling fan and slate tile floor. It's also handy for keeping out those pesky mosquitoes during the summer.

Dining Room

As you can see, we gave up on formal dining when our kid was born. I moved my desk out into the room and it also serves as a playroom with our dining room table against the wall. It's a fantastic room and I spend most of my time hanging out in here. It can very easily be converted back into a formal dining room or serve as an extension of the living room.

Guest Bedroom

The second bedroom is just off of the living room and currently serves as a nursery/stash room for all of the stuff for our renovations on the other house. It's a good-sized room and was formerly our office.
This house has a roommate floor plan, which means that each bedroom has its own attached bathroom. This room has a small closet, typical of what you find in these older houses.

Attached bathroom with tub and pedestal sink and retro tile!

Master Suite

Nice-sized master bedroom comfortably holds a king-sized bed.

(Ignore the dog and toddler.)

Master bathroom has a large walk-in shower (no tub) and a generous pedestal sink.

There is also a small walk-in closet.
